报告摘要:Complex networks provide the backbone for understanding interconnected systems across science, engineering, and society, while artificial intelligence offers powerful approaches for learning, control, optimisation, and decision-making in uncertain, dynamic environments. The synergies between these two fields are driving rapid advances: network science informs the design and resilience of intelligent systems, and artificial intelligence enables new methods for analysing, optimising, and controlling large-scale networked systems. At the same time, their interplay raises fundamental questions about dynamics, stability, robustness, and trust in systems where humans, machines, and networks interact across multiple layers and scales.

This talk will explore recent advances at the intersection of complex networks and artificial intelligence, highlighting opportunities for enhancing learning, control, optimization, and resilience in cyber-physical-social systems. The presentation will be grounded by real-world case studies from industrial research, including alarm management for large-scale power grids, money laundering network detection, and decision support for complex industrial processes.
